NRGNHA and Los Luceros Grants
SFFI and NRGNHA WILL SUPPORT:
New film projects of any duration/runtime
Filmmakers with projects that are in production or post-production are welcome to apply.
ELIGIBILITY/REQUIREMENTS:
Filmmakers residing in Santa Fe, Espanola, and Taos may apply (This should be filmmakers who reside in Santa Fe County, Rio Arriba County, or Taos County)
Filmmakers residing elsewhere who have graduated from a high school in Santa Fe, Espanola, or Taos may apply (Santa Fe County, Rio Arriba County, or Taos County)
Both narrative and documentary projects will be considered. (We would like to also encourage that the film topics are reflective of the cultures of northern New Mexico)
Filmmakers of any age and background may apply.
Films should be in production or postproduction.
Filmmakers may apply for up to $5,000.
A $10,000 grant may be awarded to a filmmaker dedicated to creating a film made at or about the Los Luceros site. For filmmakers with inquiries about the Los Luceros site and grant, please contact the Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area here.
Filmmakers may also apply for SFFI's Regional Grant, in addition to these grants.
WHO IS NOT ELIGIBLE:
You cannot apply if you do not reside in Santa Fe County, Rio Arriba County, or Taos County, AND if you have not graduated from a high school in one of these counties.
